About the Artist

Samya Zitouni is a vis dev artist and illustrator of Filipino-Moroccan descent.

After receiving her BFA in Animation from the Laguna College of Art + Design, she discovered a passion for children’s media, ranging from designing on preschool shows to illustrating picture books under the Bright Agency. Currently, Samya is a concept artist at the non-profit Kisa Kids, combining her interests in children’s tv and Islamic education. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two kitties.
